Job Summary

Build and maintain high-performance online services powering TikTok ecommerce recommendation systems. Design efficient, reliable data pipelines for candidate/profile generation and real-time online training, and develop global, large-scale recommendation infrastructure. Work on computing frameworks and storage systems, improving and testing software capabilities. Partner with applied machine learning engineers and hardware teams to deliver scalable recommendation experiences across TikTok Shop.

•Build and maintain high-performance online services for TikTok recommendation systems.

•Design and develop high-performance computing frameworks and storage systems.
•Research, develop, and update computer/network software; support testing, validation, and integration with hardware teams.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or related fields, with 3+ years building scalable systems.
•Experience programming in at least one of: C, C++, Java, or Golang.
•Effective communication skills and a strong sense of ownership and drive.
•Experience in e-commerce related areas.
•Experience in at least one: personalized recommendations, search, machine learning, distributed storage systems, or big data frameworks.
