Key Responsibilities

  • •Evaluate, select, and order equipment that is most appropriate and cost effective for manufacturing company products
  • •Oversee installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment
  • •Stay current on equipment manufacturer technical notices, upgrades, and safety issues
  • •Study equipment performance and reliability and establish programs to increase uptime
  • •Provide technical support to manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations, including defining preventative maintenance schedules

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Physics, or a related engineering field
  • •2+ years of relevant experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment as an Equipment Engineer within CVD or PVD
  • •Equipment experience with AMAT PVD and/or AMAT CVD chambers
  • •Prior experience with PVD, CVD, high/ultra-high vacuum equipment
  • •Strong analytical and communication skills, with ability to collaborate and drive results in a fast-paced environment
