•Own and deliver electrical authority across grid connection works and utility-scale solar PV, BESS, and data center power infrastructure.
•Ensure all electrical systems (generation, storage, demand) are designed, installed, tested, and energised safely and compliantly to Australian requirements.
•Provide assurance and challenge across consultants and design partners throughout delivery.
•Commission, test, and energise HV infrastructure in the Australian context.
•Review consultant and subcontractor designs with strong understanding of Australian safety frameworks and codes of practice.

Key Requirements

•5–10+ years of electrical engineering experience in power, utilities, renewables, or critical infrastructure, with strong preference for substantial HV experience in Australia.
•Proven ability to produce and own electrical designs, not just review others' work.
•Strong infrastructure delivery experience across utility-scale solar, BESS, or grid-connected assets in Australia.
•Deep understanding of electrical systems, substations, protection, and power distribution design (generation and demand).
•Working knowledge of Australian grid standards (AEMO technical requirements, DNSP connection standards, National Electricity Rules, and AS/NZS standards) and ability to interpret electrical studies.
