Job Summary

Perform site assessments and post-install inspections for residential solar systems, ensuring accurate measurements, data submission, and readiness for AHJ and utility approval. Follow dynamic intraday schedules across multiple job sites, communicate inspection issues with internal teams, and support customers and AHJs during inspection readiness. Maintain safety and tools while completing customer-facing field work that keeps projects moving safely and on time.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Visit customer homes to collect measurements, photographs, and structural/electrical data required for solar design.
•Assess roof conditions, electrical service panels, and property features using standardized tools and protocols.
•Climb ladders, walk rooftops, and conduct attic inspections as required.
•Submit survey data accurately and timely using mobile field tools.
•Perform post-install inspection visits to confirm installed systems match approved plans and meet workmanship, code, and safety standards.
•Collaborate with install teams and project managers to resolve inspection-related issues and discuss installations with AHJ and customers.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 30.51 - 40.67 hourly

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED.
•Valid state-recognized Electrical Certification at the Journeyman, Wireman, or higher level, and in good standing.
•Previous PV design, PV installation, or PV electrical experience; minimum one year of field construction experience preferred.
•Comfortable working on roofs, using ladders, and in tight or elevated spaces.
•Must be 21+, possess a valid driver’s license, and maintain a clean driving record (pass a driving background check).
