Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead technical delivery of short-term continuity projects independently while supporting high-complexity packaging projects.
  • •Develop ideas for cost savings, innovation, and quality improvements relevant to the business.
  • •Plan, execute, and analyze plant, pilot plant, and lab trials independently; review and approve technical specifications.
  • •Serve as a subject matter expert on selected packaging technology platforms and troubleshoot complex manufacturing/packaging issues.
  • •Partner with internal teams and external partners/suppliers, including enterprise procurement for category RFPs, and present technical results to leadership.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in packaging, engineering, or a related field.
  • •Minimum 5 years of packaging-industry experience, preferably in consumer packaged goods.
  • •Deep knowledge of packaging materials, equipment, and package testing methods to develop packaging solutions across the product lifecycle.
  • •Strong understanding of food science, packaging interactions, food safety, sanitary design, equipment cleaning, and regulatory standards for food processing and packaging.
  • •Financial acumen to support profitability and interpret capital plans while communicating effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
