Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete all learning milestones and development activities, including training workshops, coaching sessions, and programme assessments.
  • •Learn and apply company policies, business processes, systems, and best practices while supporting departmental operations and assigned projects.
  • •Support category management activities such as spend analysis, market/supplier research, sourcing strategy, tendering, commercial evaluation, negotiation, contracting, implementation, and performance monitoring.
  • •Support procurement improvement projects focused on cost competitiveness, supplier performance, process efficiency, compliance, sustainability, and working capital.
  • •Build commercial and financial understanding (e.g., total cost of ownership, price/market analysis, business cases, budgeting) and deliver measurable value through a business improvement project and dissertation, including a final 6-month overseas placement.
Travel: Extensive travel

Key Requirements

  • •Located in Tokyo, Japan and willing to relocate to other APAC countries as development opportunities arise.
  • •Excellent academic results and self-starter drive with strong motivation.
  • •Excellent communication skills with an outgoing, gregarious personality.
  • •Highly numerate with a technical/engineering background.
  • •Well-developed IT skills, including knowledge of MS Office and AI tools.
