Key Responsibilities

  • •Take overall technical responsibility for the electrical engineering aspects of projects.
  • •Lead development and delivery of electrical design solutions from concept through detailed design and project completion.
  • •Provide technical leadership and guidance to electrical engineers and other project team members.
  • •Review and approve electrical designs, calculations, specifications, and technical documentation; ensure robust, compliant solutions.
  • •Oversee electrical drawings and BIM models, undertake lighting and cable sizing calculations (DIALux and ElectricalOM/Amtech), and coordinate with other disciplines while liaising with stakeholders.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive experience working in Building Services Electrical Engineering, appropriate to a Principal-level position.
  • •Demonstrable experience taking technical responsibility for electrical engineering projects.
  • •Proven ability to lead and technically manage electrical engineering teams.
  • •Working knowledge of Revit to review, interrogate, and coordinate BIM models and drawings.
  • •Proficient in DIALux and ElectricalOM / Amtech for lighting design and cable sizing; must be able to review and challenge electrical calculations and design work.
  • •Sole British Nationals with a minimum of 10 years of continuous UK residency and no absence exceeding 30 consecutive days in the last 10 years; current SC or DV security clearance highly desirable.
  • •Willing and eligible to undergo the relevant security clearance process if not currently holding SC or DV clearance.
