Job Summary

Design and deliver complex mission-critical voice and data communication systems as part of multi-disciplined project teams. Own detailed technical design, documentation, equipment lists, and technical presentations, while partnering with project managers to track progress, risks, and changes. Provide technical support through deployment, installation, integration, testing, commissioning, and on-site acceptance tests, including troubleshooting and ensuring systems meet quality and security standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform detailed design to refine and develop communication system solutions and services to meet customer and operator requirements.
•Generate system documentation and equipment lists using relevant tools and processes.
•Present technical solutions and services to customers, project teams, and management; collaborate with project managers to track progress, resolutions, and changes.
•Support implementation through deployment, installation, integration, testing, commissioning, and on-site acceptance tests, including troubleshooting deviations from design.
•Develop/execute test strategies and plans, manage technical issues, and provide technical support through project phases up to handover.

Key Requirements

•University degree (or equivalent) in Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Network Engineering, or Computer Systems Engineering.
•At least 5 years of professional experience in computer systems and network engineering, telecommunications, field network/field service engineering, customer support engineering, or equivalent.
•Excellent knowledge of data and networks (LAN, WAN, security, etc.).
•Excellent knowledge of operating systems and applications (Linux, Windows, virtualization, etc.).
•Excellent knowledge of radio frequency (RF) including base station TX/RX, mobile/portable radios, and RF test equipment, plus fieldwork and commissioning/testing experience.
