Key Responsibilities

  • •Own capture strategy for enterprise critical pursuits (ECP/Tier 2) from identification through submission.
  • •Lead discovery, pre-positioning, differentiation, solution development, marcomms planning, and bid planning/review through debrief and lessons learned.
  • •Establish pursuit governance, bid budgets, winning pursuit team composition, and partnering/supply chain selection.
  • •Partner across bid, marketing, technical, operations, and commercial teams to prepare capture plans for complex proposals; drive training and adoption of capture/positioning playbooks.
  • •Drive pursuit operational excellence across the sales lifecycle, including QA and adherence to Green Light Analysis and Go/No-Go rigor, and ensure compliance across commercial, financial, legal, and governance elements.

Key Requirements

  • •Demonstrated leadership experience developing critical pursuit capture strategy aligned with business and growth targets in a consultancy environment.
  • •Proven track record leading strategic and complex pursuit capture strategies (Net Service Revenue above £25m) across multi-disciplinary and multi-locational teams, working with clients and delivery partners.
  • •Proven ability to deliver sales metrics and develop compelling client-centric value propositions.
  • •Ability to collaborate across organisational levels with experience building and managing large and diverse pursuit/capture teams.
  • •Relevant Water Industry experience and experience working in a global matrix organisation (preferred).
