Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

  • •Carry out routine component and tool servicing, calibration, maintenance, modification, and/or approved structural repairs in compliance with manufacturers procedures while observing all safety protocols
  • •Complete any component or tool maintenance and other tasks as assigned by the immediate Supervisor or Engineers, including obtaining and understanding the Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), Illustrated Parts Catalogue (IPC), Component Maintenance Manual (CMM), Standard Practice Manual (SPM), Quality Manual ISO/IEC 17025, or other approved documentation required to carry out the task
  • •Assist Supervisors or Engineers in troubleshooting, defect rectification, and performing modifications while following instructions contained in the job card
  • •Ensure all work locations are kept clean and maintain excellent housekeeping, keep ramp, stands, lockers, and toolboxes free of FOD and regularly audited
  • •Promote and uphold a strong safety culture to minimise the risk of accidents and communicate safety shortfalls; ensure prompt attendance to all allocated tasks to minimise turnaround time and report defects with clear handover information

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Engineering in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Avionics, Electronics, or Technical Engineering or Aircraft Maintenance Engineering License or Engineering Apprenticeship
  • •Experience of five years or more
  • •Post-qualification experience in the aviation field with an engineering background, including at least 2 years in a workshop environment (e.g., Weight & Balance, Avionics, Cabin, Structures, Calibration, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Fuel & Oil, Landing Gear)
  • •Understand the functions, processes, and operational requirements of the assigned workshop, including familiarity with standard and specialised tools, equipment, and safety practices
  • •Be fully conversant with aviation regulations and international standards for aircraft maintenance, and possess knowledge of industrial safety practices applicable across relevant workshop operations
