Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure assigned daily PMs are completed.
  • •Maintain production lines in good mechanical order.
  • •Diagnose issues by listening for unusual sounds and discussing variations with supervisors or other personnel.
  • •Dismantle defective equipment and install new or repaired parts; clean and lubricate mechanical components.
  • •Follow Good Manufacturing Practices and safety practices, including ISO 14001 procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED and 1+ years of related experience/training in industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing maintenance; or 4 years’ direct experience in industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing maintenance.
  • •Basic knowledge of general maintenance, hydraulic systems, electrical/electronic systems, and welding (TIG, MIG).
  • •Ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact productively with personnel and outside contractors.
  • •Ability to operate a forklift, genie lift, scissor lift, or other powered industrial trucks (PIT).
  • •Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions, read and execute work orders, write daily reports, and follow equipment manuals.
