Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage daily import, export, and domestic freight movements across air, ocean, and cross-border road transport, including routing, schedules, and contingency protocols.
  • •Ensure compliance with Vietnamese customs regulations and EPE requirements, including post-clearance audit leadership and specialized inspections for electronic equipment.
  • •Oversee carrier and partner execution (freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, domestic trucking), enforcing SLA performance and handling discrepancies and claims.
  • •Control landed cost per unit and minimize non-value-added costs, including zero tolerance for demurrage/detention and storage fees.
  • •Lead, train, and balance workloads across import/export and customs teams; drive Lean, SOP standardization, and digitalization across customs and enterprise systems.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Foreign Trade, or related fields.
  • •5+ years of progressive operational experience in international freight forwarding, logistics, and customs clearance in Vietnam.
  • •2–3+ years in a leadership capacity (Supervisor, Team Lead, or Senior Operations Specialist) in a manufacturing environment.
  • •Direct operational experience working within an Export Processing Enterprise (EPE), preferably in electronics manufacturing (EMS), consumer electronics, or high-tech hardware.
  • •Advanced proficiency with VNACCS/VCIS customs systems and enterprise ERP/WMS (SAP, Oracle, or 1C), plus knowledge of Incoterms 2020 and HS code classification for complex electronic devices.
