Job Summary

Join TikTok’s Regulatory team to advise across U.S. federal/state and international regulatory landscapes. You’ll monitor emerging regulations, assess legal and business impact of new requirements with cross-functional partners, and support responses to regulatory inquiries and investigations. Partner with government relations on engagement strategy, and build scalable internal guidance and processes to anticipate, track, and operationalize evolving legal obligations across jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

•Monitor and analyze emerging regulatory developments across U.S. federal, state, and international jurisdictions.
•Assess applicability and business impact of new regulatory requirements with cross-functional partners and provide legal analysis and implementation guidance.
•Support responses to regulatory inquiries and investigations, including coordinating internally, developing legal positions, and managing communications with regulators.
•Partner with government relations to inform regulatory engagement strategies and provide legal analysis for advocacy and policy discussions.
•Develop internal guidance and processes to anticipate, track, and operationalize regulatory developments at scale.

Key Requirements

•Qualified to practice law in the U.S.
•5+ years of relevant experience across government, private practice and/or in-house.
•Understanding of key global U.S. regulations, standards, and regulatory/political guidelines.
•Ability to independently identify and evaluate legal and reputational risk and provide recommendations.
•Excellent cross-functional collaboration and judgment while managing multiple matters simultaneously.
