Job Summary

Serve as a trusted pre-sales technical advisor for enterprise manufacturing and transportation customers in Central Germany. Partner with sales, solution architects, and internal engineering teams to deliver technical presentations, product demos, and Proofs of Concept using Fortinet’s Security Fabric. Influence customer security architectures and long-term strategies while enabling partners through online and on-site workshops, supported by onboarding and continuous learning.

Job Function: IT Operations (Systems/Network Admin)

Key Responsibilities

•Work with prospective and existing customers to understand business and technical requirements and demonstrate how Fortinet’s Security Fabric addresses security challenges.
•Design and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and Proofs of Concepts (PoCs) that communicate value and differentiation.
•Collaborate with sales teams, partners, and systems engineers, as well as solution architects and internal stakeholders, to build trusted long-term relationships.
•Accelerate deal cycles through technical leadership while helping customers build secure, scalable architectures with Fortinet solutions.
•Conduct technical enablement sessions for Fortinet partners and support technical sales enablement with competitive insights and best practices.

Key Requirements

•Fluency in both German and English and confidence presenting in both languages.
•Hands-on experience in networking and/or IT security from a vendor, system integrator, service provider, consulting firm, or enterprise IT environment.
•Customer-facing ability with ambition to build long-term relationships with customers and partners.
•Strong consultative approach to position Fortinet’s differentiation against competing solutions.
•Willingness to engage directly with customers and partners, including events and industry conferences.
