Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide expert advice, recommendations, and counseling to prospects on personal insurance coverage aligned to their needs and exposures.
  • •Meet and/or exceed individual sales targets and department goals.
  • •Prepare documentation for prospects, including complete applications, issue insurance certificates, and set applications for processing.
  • •Maintain professional, collaborative relationships with key underwriters and represent the brokerage at industry functions when required.
  • •Quote new prospects using Applied Rating Services or company portals, resolve concerns or complaints professionally, and stay current on industry and underwriting process changes.

Key Requirements

  • •RIBO License in good standing required.
  • •Typically, 2 years Personal Lines experience in a “one & done” environment.
  • •Extensive experience with Major Domestic Personal Lines Markets (e.g., Intact, Aviva, SGI).
  • •Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • •Self-managing with strong analytical, organizational, time management skills and strong attention to detail; EPIC fluency is an asset.
