Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare wafers for experimentation, including cleaning and reactor preparation.
  • •Operate reactors to perform thin film processes under limited supervision and evaluate process system performance.
  • •Prepare cross-section samples for SEM analysis, optimize sample-prep procedures and conditions, and identify cut locations based on pattern instructions.
  • •Operate SEM for imaging/analysis (cross-section, top-view, CD, and EDS) and identify patterns of interest to meet image quality requirements.
  • •Record process conditions and observations; perform routine maintenance and shut down/start-up procedures; interface with requestors and coordinate with vendors for repairs/supplies.
