Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist in installation and qualification of manufacturing equipment.
  • •Solve day-to-day production, equipment, and process problems.
  • •Identify and implement yield and product performance improvements, and develop methods to assign causes to yield excursions.
  • •Set up and maintain gauges; ensure processes run on target per the Process Control Plan and respond to SPC alarms to bring processes back into control.
  • •Execute planned process experiments, collect/analyze data, report results, maintain documentation, and provide training to production associates.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 23 - 26.44 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma (or equivalent) is required.
  • •Associates degree in a technical discipline.
  • •Two or more years of machine or mechanic experience as a primary job function, OR one year of First Solar technical experience.
  • •Six months experience as a Temporary Manufacturing Engineering Technician at First Solar.
  • •Good written and oral communications skills in English and ability to work with minimal supervision, troubleshooting problems on the manufacturing line.
