Job Summary

Design, build, and operate hyperscale data-center networking infrastructure supporting edge and backbone connectivity. Partner with internal network teams to consolidate network architecture, enhance high-availability backbone networks, and optimize Backbone-to-Origin routing and performance. Troubleshoot across Edge and DataCenter teams, improve interconnectivity strategies, and use automation to streamline configurations and traffic flows between environments while coordinating with China-based DataCenter teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Define and implement network architecture improvements, specifically consolidating network infrastructure.
•Support and enhance the backbone network to ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability across regional and global infrastructure.
•Collaborate with Edge and DataCenter teams to optimize and troubleshoot Backbone-to-Origin routing and performance.
•Support and enhance interconnectivity strategies for seamless integration between Edge-managed and DataCenter-managed infrastructure.
•Leverage automation to streamline network configurations and optimize traffic flows between Edge and DataCenter environments.

Key Requirements

•B.S./M.S. in Telecommunication, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
•1+ year of experience in data center network engineering focused on backbone, edge, and interconnect architectures.
•Strong knowledge of BGP, MPLS, SR-TE, and other routing protocols for large-scale network operations.
•Experience with IPT, IXP, and PNI peering, including traffic engineering and optimization.
•Experience troubleshooting complex network issues across teams and familiarity with CDN and edge computing architectures.
