Key Responsibilities

  • •Install copper bus bars into medium voltage switchgear assemblies.
  • •Use drawings and schematics and precision measurement (e.g., tape measures) to ensure components are within tolerance.
  • •Fabricate and install additional accessories (e.g., boots, clastic, additional wiring) into switchgear assemblies.
  • •Inspect assemblies for loose or missing hardware and cleanliness; assemble including some wiring tasks as needed.
  • •Respond to change notices and customer-requested adjustments; assist in developing standard prints and support safety/quality/productivity.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 19 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • •Must live within a 50-mile radius of Omaha, NE (Active-duty military exempt).
  • •Ability to read and interpret drawings or wire diagrams.
  • •Experience with precision measuring devices, hand/power tools, and torque wrenches.
  • •Able to lift up to 35 pounds and work safely while standing/sitting/bending and working from ladders; willing to work overtime as required.
