Join Cisco’s Silicon One SIPI team as a hardware-focused engineer working on high-speed analog/digital signal analysis for networking products. You’ll model, simulate, and characterize high-speed systems at the ASIC, package, and PCB level, tackling ultra-high data-rate challenges with cutting-edge silicon technologies in a startup-like, collaborative environment.

Job Function: Hardware, Embedded & Systems Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Design and analyze high-speed analog/digital signals for networking products, with emphasis on high-speed signal and power analysis of ASIC, package, and PCB.
•Model, simulate, and characterize high-speed systems, including high-speed I/Os, chip packages, printed circuit boards, and system interconnects.
•Address challenges of ultra-high data rate and cutting-edge technology through rigorous testing and analysis.
•Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to leverage latest silicon technologies for large-scale devices at the edge of feasibility.
•Contribute to silicon development efforts within Cisco Silicon One SIPI, delivering detailed specifications to other development teams.

Key Requirements

•B.Sc or M.Sc Electrical Engineer from leading Israeli universities with average grades above 85.
•Physics background.
•Brilliant, ambitious and motivated individual, regardless of previous experience.
•Team players who enjoy big challenges and can ramp on multiple interdisciplinary domains.
•Preferred: Experience in ASIC package design, optimizing pinouts, stack-ups, and high-speed routing.
