Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate the vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
  • •Transport loads safely and on time while obeying traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • •Maneuver truck and trailer for loading/unloading and follow loading crew signals.
  • •Assist with loading/unloading goods and materials using specialized equipment; return equipment to designated areas.
  • •Maintain required delivery paperwork (invoices, shipping bills of lading) and support routine truck service/checks; arrange trailers for optimum loading patterns.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •Must hold either a commercial drivers license (Class A CDL) or a chauffeur’s license appropriate for the vehicle weight.
  • •Must pass background and drug testing required by federal and/or state DOT regulations.
  • •Must pass DOT physical (trucks driven are over 10k lbs).
  • •Must be at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle.
  • •Must be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds and meet physical requirements for the role.
