Job Summary

Support environmental compliance for industrial clients across the Southeast, conducting Phase 1 environmental site assessments and inspections (including stormwater, SPCC, and hazardous waste). Help develop procedures, permits, and regulatory reports, and produce clear written and verbal technical documentation of audits, investigations, and findings. Maintain quality control for measurements and data analysis, follow site safety procedures, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and assist in client relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform Phase 1 environmental site assessments and environmental inspections, including stormwater, SPCC, and hazardous waste.
•Support environmental compliance programs for industrial clients by developing procedures and permits and preparing/submitting regulatory reports.
•Prepare written and verbal technical reports documenting audits, field investigations, regulatory research, and evaluation of findings.
•Maintain quality control standards for accurate measurements and statistical analysis, and manage data interpretation and presentation.
•Follow safety guidelines and site-specific procedures, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and assist in managing client relationships.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, Environmental Policy, Engineering, Earth Science, or a related discipline.
•Ability to pass an OSHA HAZWOPER physical, wear a respirator, and potentially participate in OSHA medical surveillance if required.
•Valid US driver’s license and ability to work in industrial facility conditions and rough terrain, including sites involving cleanup or disposal of hazardous materials.
•Knowledge of environmental laws, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements, with clear verbal and written communication skills.
•Proficiency in investigative work with attention to detail, critical thinking to reach conclusions from testing results, and effective time management under deadlines.
