Key Responsibilities

  • •Own mechanical system program strategy and execution across the full product lifecycle, balancing performance, cost, manufacturability, reliability, and serviceability.
  • •Lead mechanical and thermal system development, including chassis/enclosure design, air/liquid cooling, structural integrity/shock-vibration performance, cable management, and rack/data center integration.
  • •Act as the mechanical system integrator, ensuring alignment across mechanical, thermal, electrical, and system architecture design.
  • •Drive prototype build cycles (EVT/DVT/PVT), mechanical validation (including shock/vibration and safety requirements), and root cause analysis (RCA) with corrective actions.
  • •Establish program execution mechanisms (design reviews, build reviews, milestone checkpoints) and lead mechanical programs tracking, documentation, change management, and configuration control.

Key Requirements

  • •Lead mechanical system development programs across the full lifecycle (concept → production → sustaining).
  • •Deep technical expertise in thermal, mechanical, and structural domains for system-level hardware development.
  • •Coordinate cross-functional teams across mechanical, thermal, system architecture, electrical, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain.
  • •Drive design for manufacturability (DFM), design for assembly (DFA), and design for reliability (DFR) practices.
  • •Earn a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
