Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead end-to-end construction safety for data center projects from development to final delivery.
  • •Monitor safety across site infrastructure, substation, and core/shell construction and ensure General Contractor compliance with Rowan’s Contractor Safety Management Program.
  • •Maintain and report EHS metrics for the project site; analyze and trend safety data to identify patterns, emerging risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • •Develop and update policies, procedures, plans, and strategies; conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
  • •Directly manage a team of 2 safety professionals, participate in HRA meetings, and support site safety steering committees and worker safety observation/engagement programs.

Salary: USD 110,000 - 125,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years as a safety professional within a construction delivery organization; data center experience highly desired.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in a safety-specific field (occupational health and safety) or equivalent experience.
  • •Knowledge of OSHA standards for Construction and General Industry.
  • •Familiarity with potentially hazardous materials or practices in the workplace, plus incident investigation, injury management, and hazard analysis.
  • •Working knowledge of safety management software (e.g., Procore, Highwire) and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
