Job Summary

Develop and validate predictive and machine-learning models to address business problems, using statistics and advanced mathematical techniques. Own self-directed analysis and model building based on business partner problem statements, while applying model risk management and model health testing. Build data structures and transformations, leverage SQL/NoSQL and Python/R/SAS, and communicate model insights clearly to peers and analytics stakeholders.

•Conduct quantitative analysis, including hypothesis testing and root-cause analysis, on large data sets with more autonomy.
•Use statistical analysis and machine learning to develop, maintain, and anticipate implementation considerations for models that address business needs.
•Create data structures and transformations, and identify the information needed to answer business questions.
•Apply critical thinking to select the right approach for each problem statement and anticipate business needs.
•Continuously improve models and processes, including testing for deterioration and model health.

Salary: USD 71,000 - 125,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in statistics, mathematics, economics, financial engineering, data sciences, predictive modeling, or another quantitative discipline.
•At least 2 years of relevant experience; 1 year with a Master’s or PhD.
•Ability to create data structures/transformations and capture information needed for analysis and business questions.
•Experience with hypothesis testing and root-cause analysis on large data sets.
•Ability to leverage advanced analytics programming and tools to develop, maintain, and communicate model insights.
