Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee electrical construction activities on a major EPCM refinery project, ensuring safe execution, quality compliance, and schedule achievement.
  • •Supervise and ensure contractors comply with HSES policy, site regulations, permit-to-work procedures, and client requirements.
  • •Ensure electrical contractors adhere to Approved for Construction (AFC) drawings, specifications, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), procedures, and site instructions.
  • •Supervise electrical installation activities (e.g., cable tray, conduit, power/control cabling, grounding, lighting, substations, switchgear, transformers, MCCs) and monitor progress against approved schedules.
  • •Support inspections and commissioning activities, including site walk-downs, punch listing, and testing/pre-commissioning/commissioning, while resolving electrical installation issues and technical queries.

Key Requirements

  • •Have a Vocational Certificate, Diploma, or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline.
  • •Minimum 10 years of relevant electrical construction experience, including installation activities.
  • •Experience supervising electrical installation works such as transformers, switchgear, MCCs, power distribution, lighting, grounding, and instrument power supplies.
  • •Experience working on live plant, greenfield, brownfield, turnaround, shutdown, or revamp projects within industrial facilities.
  • •Strong knowledge of electrical construction drawings, specifications, single-line diagrams, cable schedules, layouts, and quality requirements, with HSES awareness (e.g., Method Statements, JSA, Risk Assessments).
