Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist the Project Manager with outage management strategy, scope, resources, manpower, spare parts, and QA plans (up to 18 months ahead).
  • •Conduct pre-outage studies by reviewing equipment history, OEM recommendations, layout/interconnections, failure root causes, and operating conditions.
  • •Support end-to-end outage execution by monitoring daily progress, coordinating stakeholders/service providers, and enforcing work control procedures, HSSE, and quality standards.
  • •Arrange spare parts/consumables/tools and ensure required work authorizations and safety permits are issued before execution.
  • •Develop final outage reports comparing planned vs. achieved goals, milestones, issues, corrective actions, and lessons learned for continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • •10+ years’ experience in Operations and Maintenance of large power plants.
  • •Outage execution experience with OEMs is a plus.
  • •Experience managing at least one outage of Steam/Gas Turbines.
  • •Knowledge of power plant maintenance equipment, practices, procedures, and applicable legal/quality/HSSE requirements.
