Key Responsibilities

  • •Apply or develop advanced propulsion technologies and engineering concepts for systems integration into missile systems and space vehicles, including propulsion, thrusters, controllers, and related interfaces.
  • •Support both development and production programs across Raytheon product lines and review manufacturing processes while resolving issues.
  • •Manage propulsion system development projects and propulsion subcontracts, including technical review/disposition of subcontract data and change requests, and oversee supplier operations.
  • •Collaborate with program management on long-range technical planning and act as a spokesperson for technical capabilities and future directions.
  • •Interface with customers to identify user needs, deliver technical presentations to management and government, and travel to provide supplier support (including internationally).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) and 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and 5 years of relevant experience.
  • •8 years of experience in propulsion technology applied to solid or air-breathing propulsion systems.
  • •Experience developing solid propulsion systems from conceptual design through final test/assembly.
  • •The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance prior to the start date; U.S. citizenship is required.
  • •Experience must include propulsion system development across development and production programs.
