Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform Water Treatment Operator tasks to support daily operations and upkeep of the Water Treatment department.
  • •Monitor water and waste treatment control systems and recording devices; conduct preventative maintenance.
  • •Conduct daily lab testing of water treatment effluent for process control and assist with adjusting process control to stay within discharge limits.
  • •Complete daily records and paperwork; clean and organize the Water Treatment area and equipment/work areas.
  • •Load and move by-product trailers/tankers and serve as the daily point of contact for deliveries and pickups, including bill of lading and security seals where required.

Key Requirements

  • •1-2 years’ experience in operations and maintenance of water treatment plants with ancillary/auxiliary equipment and distribution systems.
  • •Obtain a Water Treatment Operator Certification within 12 months of employment.
  • •Read, write, and comprehend English to communicate effectively.
  • •Knowledge of maintenance and water treatment language and terminology to communicate with department and technical contacts.
  • •Valid driver’s license required; experience driving a tractor/trailer or yard truck is preferred.
