Job Summary

Lead production operations on the 2nd shift by overseeing the full manufacturing process, tracking yields, and making real-time adjustments to meet targets. Ensure safety, USDA health standards, HACCP, and USDA regulations are followed while enforcing food safety and quality plans. Manage training, coaching, and daily line meetings, driving operational efficiency through yield and variance analysis and continuous improvement. Supervise routine equipment and facility maintenance to minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform daily production floor inspections, lead safety audits, champion ergonomics, and ensure adherence to HACCP and USDA regulations.
•Maintain product quality by enforcing food safety and food quality plans and training employees on safe operating procedures (including lock-out/tag-out).
•Track and analyze production yields, efficiencies, and variances, partnering with Operations Managers and Supervisors to improve workflows and equipment use.
•Direct hourly production employees to align safety, quality, and production goals; lead monthly line meetings and conduct daily floor walks.
•Analyze production performance metrics and recommend continuous improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain high quality standards.

Travel: Low travel

Salary: USD 55,000 - 82,500 annually

•Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field plus 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Experience acting as a lead by training, coaching, mentoring, or managing a process or project.
•Strong oral and written communication with analytical and math abilities for complex process problem-solving.
•Ability to motivate, train, and coach employees to achieve peak performance in a positive, respectful, team-oriented environment.
•Adaptable to fast-paced conditions and able to work long hours and weekends when needed.
