Key Responsibilities

  • •Grow the Dapr OSS Community: Drive contributor growth, engagement, and adoption metrics across GitHub, Discord, and other channels.
  • •Moderate & nurture the ecosystem: Actively moderate the Dapr Discord (and future platforms), answer technical questions, recognize contributors, and foster a welcoming environment.
  • •Create compelling content: Write blog posts, tutorials, architectural guides, and sample apps showcasing Dapr + AI agents and related workflows.
  • •Lead webinars & live sessions: Plan and deliver technical webinars, workshops, and live demos on a regular cadence.
  • •Represent Diagrid publicly: Speak at conferences, participate in podcasts, and engage on social media to advocate for Dapr and Diagrid.

Key Requirements

  • •Have prior Developer Relations, Developer Advocate, or Community Manager experience.
  • •Have 5+ years of software engineering experience, with strong hands-on knowledge of distributed systems, cloud-native technologies, Kubernetes, or microservices.
  • •Are deeply familiar with Dapr (or similar projects like Temporal, Camunda, Orkes, etc.) and excited about its future in the AI agent era.
  • •Love creating content and have a track record of blogs, videos, talks, or open-source contributions that gained traction.
  • •Excel at community building — you’ve moderated Discords/Slack, grown OSS projects, or run successful meetup groups.
