Key Responsibilities

  • •Analyze baseline factory metrics (scrap, rework, FPY), identify top drivers, forecast future demand for top drivers, and find improvement opportunities.
  • •Drive manufacturing quality through hardware inspection and hands-on work with product and cross-functional teams to execute root-cause corrective actions.
  • •Conduct process walks and operator observations and lead manufacturing team discussions to reduce variation through process enhancements.
  • •Lead advanced product quality planning initiatives (APQP) including PFMEA, control plans, and SPC; verify/validate improvements and efficiencies.
  • •Identify supplier escapes/issues and ensure proper containment/backflow to the Supplier Quality Management team.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a STEM or other technical field and five (5) years of related experience.
  • •Experience identifying root cause and initiating/implementing effective short- and long-term corrective actions in a cross-functional improvement environment.
  • •Experience developing/using quality metrics to drive true root cause, long-term corrective action, and verification of improvements.
  • •Experience in manufacturing process work, interpreting drawings and work instructions, and understanding BOMs and process/tool control.
  • •Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
