Maintain the Tyson facility and repair manufacturing equipment in a safe, policy-compliant manner on 1st shift. Execute maintenance and repairs using CMMS work orders, including troubleshooting and fixing line equipment such as mixers, grinders, slicers, labelers, and more. Perform setup, cutting/welding and electrical work, complete weekly/monthly/semi-annual inspections, and handle repairs across plumbing and fixtures while meeting physical and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain the facility and repair manufacturing equipment while maintaining a safe work environment and following Tyson policies and procedures.
•Execute maintenance and repair work tied to CMMS work orders, including repairing line equipment (mixers, grinders, clippers stuffers, slicers, labelers, multivacs, etc.).
•Pre-check and set up equipment and perform cutting, welding, electrical work, and other assigned duties.
•Complete facility inspections (weekly, monthly, and semi-annual) including fire extinguishers, fire sprinklers, eyewash/shower stations, emergency lighting, access door alarms, and rail inspections.
•Perform lighting, plumbing, and fixture repairs including copper pipe soldering and pipe threading; repair toilets, sinks, and water heaters; drive forklifts and aerial lifts as needed.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 30.53 - 42.33 hourly

Key Requirements

•Minimum of 2 years hands-on industrial maintenance mechanic experience, including electrical, conveyor, controls, AC/DC, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
•Basic math skills and computer skills.
•Ability to read and comprehend product specifications sheets, assess equipment, and demonstrate mechanical knowledge.
•Available to work all shifts (including weekends) and available for overtime.
•Working knowledge of USDA regulations and plant sanitation standards/procedures is preferred.
