Key Responsibilities

  • •Liaise with WSP India design teams to confirm project briefs, deliverables, programme, and required resources to meet time and cost targets.
  • •Ensure quality of detailed electrical design against WSP in India and Global Building Regulations standards, including technical reviews and sign-off with complex calculations and coordination issues.
  • •Coordinate design work with Health & Safety, Construction Design Management, and Quality Assurance standards; review CAD analysis outputs and determine additional checking levels as needed.
  • •Manage commercial aspects including project fees and invoicing, and communicate programme delivery and quality issues using KPIs and reporting.
  • •Lead and develop the design team: recruit in liaison with the Head of GCC, provide technical training/mentoring, and raise technical competence while implementing delivery and quality measurement processes.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience in designing Building Services, with significant experience in a similar role or a strong track record.
  • •Experience in the design of Engineering Building Services, specifically electrical building services.
  • •Conversant with technical electrical/mechanical software such as IES, Amtech, Hevacomp, Relux and Dialux.
  • •Strong proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Project.
  • •Fluent English with excellent understanding of technical terminology; ideally British Chartered Engineer status or equivalent and a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with membership to an accredited engineering body.
