Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the focal point for all HSE matters onboard the offshore facility and monitor daily operations for compliance.
  • •Enforce life-saving and critical safety rules through regular worksite inspections, hazard identification, and risk control verification.
  • •Verify work activities are covered by approved PTW and Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and ensure toolbox talks are completed before work starts.
  • •Participate in SIMOPS risk assessments, support incident reporting and investigations, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • •Act as part of the Emergency Response Team (ERT), assist with emergency drills and ensure lifesaving/firefighting equipment readiness.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Safety, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
  • •Minimum 5 years’ HSE experience, including at least 3 years in offshore oil & gas operations.
  • •NEBOSH IGC (or equivalent) HSE certification.
  • •Offshore survival certifications: BOSIET/FOET and HUET.
  • •ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 internal auditor training and active membership in recognized HSE organizations (e.g., IOSH, BCSP).
