Job Summary

Lead the structuring, execution, and lifecycle management of Rates, FX, and Asset-Backed Financing solutions for clients across Mexico and LatAm. Oversee bespoke hedging and private ABF transactions, perform collateral and portfolio analytics, manage documentation and negotiations with stakeholders, coordinate external service providers, and ensure ongoing portfolio monitoring with controls, reporting, and regulatory inputs. Partner across Trading, Risk, Legal, Operations, Product Control, and global structuring teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Structure bespoke Rates and FX solutions for corporate and institutional clients across Mexico and LatAm.
•Originate, structure, and execute private Asset-Backed Financing transactions backed by consumer and SME loan and lease portfolios.
•Collect and analyze portfolio data to assess collateral quality, performance, concentration, eligibility, and transaction economics.
•Review and negotiate transaction documentation with Legal and relevant internal/external stakeholders, coordinating required service providers for ABF execution.
•Monitor the existing ABF portfolio in HSBC Mexico, including facility terms, reporting, compliance tracking, audits, amendments, renewals, and terminations; support P&L and regulatory reporting inputs.

Key Requirements

•Strong understanding of Rates, FX, and Structured Financing products, including collateral analysis, transaction mechanics, servicing frameworks, and documentation requirements.
•Relevant experience in structuring, execution, and portfolio management of financing and risk management solutions.
•Strong analytical skills to interpret portfolio data and assess commercial and risk transaction implications.
•Experience working with internal control functions and external providers such as legal counsels, auditors, rating agencies, and master servicers.
•Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, transaction-driven environment.
