Job Summary

Lead 2nd shift operations in Scarborough by supervising production and shipping schedules, mentoring and coaching employees, and driving a proactive safety culture. Partner with the Plant Manager to manage shift maintenance, operational costs and yield, and execution of SOPs. Drive continuous improvement and Lean waste elimination while ensuring compliance with safety and federal/state/local regulations and supporting transportation and asset utilization for strong customer satisfaction.

•Manage shift maintenance activities by coordinating with the maintenance team to resolve equipment breakdowns and maintain uninterrupted plant operations.
•Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness across end-to-end operations.
•Monitor and manage operational costs and yield, working with the Plant Manager to optimize performance and support overall plant objectives.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Operations/Supply Chain or relevant experience in a related field.
•Prior experience in a plant supervisory role in an engineering or manufacturing environment.

•Experience managing safety performance and programs.
•Understanding of supply chain practices and metrics; Six Sigma/Lean certification is desirable.
