Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as overall designer, developer, builder, and maintainer of the MTC simulation/stimulation data, voice, and video network infrastructure.
  • •Configure and manage network hardware including switches, routers, and firewalls, and coordinate security posture documentation with ISSM and Network Architect teams.
  • •Coordinate communications architecture and exercise network support plans with internal training branches, external MTC facilities, local NEC, and tactical units across the exercise lifecycle.
  • •Implement Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) requirements for security boundary network infrastructure and ensure vulnerability remediation across network infrastructure.
  • •Act as site lead for SolarWinds management and tool usage for network performance and configuration management while carrying team leader responsibilities for contract-provided network personnel.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS degree in network management or related field.
  • •8+ years of networking experience, including advanced planning, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • •Strong Cisco networking skills (switches, routers, call manager, firewalls) and ability to interpret and develop network architecture/topology diagrams.
  • •Familiarity with Tenable ACAS remediation and DISA STIG implementation processes.
  • •Baseline IAT-III security certification options (e.g., SecurityX/CASP+, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, or CCSP) and ability to support required security clearance.
