Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop firmware for high-performance memory controllers and SSDs to improve performance while reducing power, latency, and SoC complexity.
  • •Develop firmware IP subsystems that meet technical spec matrix requirements across performance, endurance, capacity, functionality, and quality/reliability.
  • •Create firmware unit and functional tests to ensure quality and performance at each integration milestone.
  • •Assist with evaluation, build, bench testing, debugging, and failure analysis; triage failures and file bug reports.
  • •Provide consistent, detailed communication to management and multidisciplinary team members and support team technical development.

Key Requirements

  • •Masters or Bachelors in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
  • •Excellent communication skills.
  • •Minimum 2 years of experience in embedded firmware development and debugging.
  • •Proficiency in programming languages such as C and Rust, plus programming tools and environments.
  • •Experience with team leadership or supervising engineers and technicians; Python programming is an advantage.
