Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and grow high-performing teams of data scientists and AI practitioners delivering enterprise AI initiatives.
  • •Build and scale semantic and contextual foundations for SAP AI agents grounded in business ontology and enterprise data/process context.
  • •Define AI/ML architecture and governance, including responsible AI practices and operational frameworks for enterprise-scale deployments.
  • •Design and optimize knowledge-graph and ontology-driven semantic retrieval solutions integrating ML, generative/agentic AI, and RAG architectures.
  • •Collaborate with domain experts and executives to translate business processes and data assets into reusable semantic frameworks and measure business impact with KPIs.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years leading and mentoring teams of data scientists, ML engineers, and AI practitioners, delivering complex AI initiatives to production across stakeholders.
  • •People management experience (5+ years) leading data science and AI teams, including hiring, coaching, and retaining top AI talent.
  • •Define technical strategy, set team priorities, and align AI investments with business objectives, product roadmaps, and customer outcomes.
  • •Experience delivering large-scale AI programs across multiple teams/business units and partnering with senior executives on AI strategy and investment priorities.
  • •Deep knowledge of ontology engineering and semantic technologies, including metadata management, entity resolution, taxonomies, and knowledge representation for knowledge-graph/semantic-layer solutions.
