Key Responsibilities

  • •Engage users in Japanese online communities as the brand’s voice, answering questions and enforcing community guidelines to keep the environment safe and constructive.
  • •Serve as a first responder for user-reported issues, troubleshooting and escalating complex bugs to global Product and Engineering teams with clear, concise data.
  • •Analyze community conversations to identify Japan-specific trends, synthesize feedback, and provide actionable insights for the product roadmap.
  • •Support building and scaling Japanese community programs, including planning and running user get-togethers and offline events.
  • •Partner with regional (JP) and global teams (Marketing, Product) to execute community-facing initiatives for launches, surveys, and events.

Key Requirements

  • •Native-level Japanese fluency (written and spoken) for community engagement; English proficiency is a plus for internal collaboration.
  • •1+ years of experience in a customer-facing role such as community, technical support, customer success, or event coordination.
  • •Genuine passion and curiosity about AI, software, or consumer technology products.
  • •Strong empathy and interpersonal skills to build rapport with users both online and in-person.
  • •Proactive, hands-on organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage small-scale projects or events independently.
