Execute purchasing strategies set by a Purchasing Manager, including planning and scheduling materials, services, and supplies for centralized purchasing or manufacturing needs. Expedite supplier orders to meet production, check and approve invoices, maintain purchasing records, and support inventory accuracy and flow with supply chain partners. Assess customer needs, review plant demand and resource availability, and work to optimize inventory levels, waste reduction, and inventory turns.
