Job Summary

Work in a semiconductor fab in Melaka supporting equipment, process, and product needs across clean rooms. Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and installations; monitor and analyze tool performance to reduce downtime; and coordinate supplier service when needed. As a process/product technician, run technical tests and experiments, provide guidance to line operators, troubleshoot multi-probe test programs, track yield, and help identify root causes of yield degradation.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, improvements, upgrades, and installations; coordinate with engineering and manufacturing groups to resolve fab issues.
•Improve system performance by monitoring and analyzing related data, addressing tool issues, and preparing technical reports with recommended solutions.
•As a process technician, perform technical tests and experiments in the wafer fabrication area; monitor and audit line operations and provide guidance.
•Provide process and product support to address production concerns and disposition of production material.
•As a product technician, manage and troubleshoot multi-probe test programs, evaluate issues, recommend improvements, and support yield tracking and root-cause analysis.

Key Requirements

•Associate's degree in any technical related field and/or equivalent Military Electronics training, or prior technician experience in a wafer fab.
•Ability to identify and resolve issues to improve equipment performance.
•Good troubleshooting skills on electrical and mechanical systems.
•Strong organizational, teaming, and troubleshooting skills with exceptional attention to detail.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions in a fast-paced environment.
