Key Responsibilities

  • •Build and maintain a cutting-edge cloud-native database platform on top of public clouds.
  • •Develop and operate autoscaling for vertical and horizontal scaling using an in-house Kubernetes operator.
  • •Improve the metrics pipeline and develop algorithms to provide autoscaling statistics and recommendations.
  • •Collaborate with the core ClickHouse development and data plane teams to support autoscaling use cases and other infra improvements.
  • •Architect and deliver a robust, scalable, highly available distributed infrastructure.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience building and operating scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems.
  • •Experience building operators with Kubernetes and controller runtime.
  • •Production experience with Go, C++ or Java.
  • •Experience with a public cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure) and infrastructure as a service (e.g., EC2).
  • •Experience with Data Storage, Ingestion, and Transformation (Spark, Kafka or similar).
