Key Responsibilities

•Build and lead the team: Hire, grow, and retain a senior team spanning policy and authorization platform, enterprise integration and credentials, security telemetry and audit, and policy supply chain and delivery.
•Own delivery and execution: Turn the reference architecture and roadmap into scoped, sequenced, shippable work and manage dependencies, risk, and trade-offs.
•Drive cross-organization execution: Partner with Product Security, runtime-substrate owners, Identity, IT, Fleet/MDM, SecOps, signing and trust services, corporate-resource owners, and detector vendors to land shared interfaces.
•Partner with technical leadership: Work with the Principal Security Architect and Principal platform engineer to translate architecture decisions into executable plans.
•Operate with security rigor: Run reviews, threat-modeling, and assurance cadence with Product Security; establish on-call and operational practices for enterprise control plane.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 272,000 - 431,250 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with 10+ years in software engineering and 3+ years leading and growing engineering teams, including senior engineers.
•Track record building and leading teams that delivered security, infrastructure, platform, or distributed-systems software through ambiguity.
•Strong technical judgment in at least one core area—security engineering, authorization/policy systems, identity, or agent/runtime security.
•Cross-functional leadership: aligning multiple owners across security, runtime, identity, product, and partner teams.
•Clear written and verbal communication with executives, partners, and engineers.
