Build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents, maintaining confidentiality and professional conduct. Contribute to department discussions and support enrichment and after-school activities, including community partnership events.

Key Responsibilities

•Represent knowledge, understanding, and skills in Art with richness to students.
•Engage and motivate students to achieve beyond expectations using excellent subject and teaching knowledge.
•Plan and deliver learning opportunities and activities to enrich and enhance the taught curriculum.
•Maintain classroom and school-wide fair, consistent disciplinary practices and protect students from abuse.
•Communicate with parents about attainment and progress while maintaining confidentiality and modeling academic honesty.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree (Bachelor in Education) with a specialist Art Teacher qualification.
•Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Middle School.
•Demonstrate consistently high standards of personal and professional conduct and ethics.
•Use strong subject knowledge, pedagogic and interpersonal skills to motivate students and support enjoyment of learning.
•Plan lessons considering students’ individual learning needs, learning styles, preferences, and capabilities.
