Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and extend the MCP Gateway and connector platform, building hardened MCP server integrations and enforcing auth/scopes, tenancy, rate limiting, and read/write policies.
  • •Run the distribution layer and marketplace publishing pipeline (versioning, CI/CD, plugin PR review, release hygiene, and developer tooling sync).
  • •Own platform observability, model-gateway configuration, and cost attribution by extending usage-rollup and telemetry for adoption, tool-call health, and inference spend.
  • •Extend the agent output and collaboration surface (mapping agent outputs into a browsable/searchable/commentable interface, plus engagement instrumentation and notifications).
  • •Act as platform steward: run office hours/brownbags, mentor engineers, triage/dedupe feature requests, and carry on-call for gateway availability and marketplace artifacts.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of professional software engineering experience with production ownership of a backend service or developer platform (API gateway, service proxy, SDK/CLI, or similar).
  • •Production experience in at least one modern application stack (Python, TypeScript/Node, Go, or similar) with modern CI/CD.
  • •Hands-on authentication/authorization for machine-to-machine traffic (OAuth2, OIDC, M2M credentials, token scoping, secret management).
  • •Experience instrumenting systems you own using metrics, structured logging, tracing, or usage analytics to drive decisions.
  • •Strong written communication and comfort producing documentation/runbooks for engineers, plus experience with agentic coding tools and LLM tool integrations (e.g., MCP servers or comparable).
