Job Summary

Lead and deliver ground-up data center construction projects in Europe from inception to commissioning, coordinating cross-functional teams and engaging with technology clients. You will shape project objectives, develop detailed plans, manage governance, procurement, and budgets, and report progress to clients. This role sits in our London data center team and requires strong construction and PM expertise.

Job Function: Program & Project Management (PMO)

Key Responsibilities

•Advising at a strategic level at the project conception stage, including providing advice on approaches to achieve the client’s objectives
•Leading the establishment of the overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters
•Planning for and ongoing management of quality, safety, health and environment issues
•Establishing effective project governance, processes and systems to be utilised throughout project
•Project planning, including ensuring the production of the detailed project plan
•Advising upon the procurement of resources
•Leading and facilitating the cross-functional project team
•Monitoring and applying performance management techniques, including KPI use to improve project performance
•Managing the change control process
•Monitoring and advising upon project finances
•Managing the flow of project information between the team and the client through meetings and written communications
•Ensuring production of formal project progress and other reports; interfacing with client and other consultants at all stages

Key Requirements

•Construction consultancy experience strongly preferred
•Professionally qualified in construction, project management, engineering, or architecture; Chartered status or on path to achieving this
•Thorough understanding of the total project life cycle, from conception through post-project review
•Excellent knowledge and experience of main project management concepts, tools, and techniques
•Design, management or construction experience within residential, office, fit-outs and health & education environments
