Key Responsibilities

•Engage regularly with EU policymakers including the Commission, Parliament, Council, and national level policymakers.
•Work on priority public policy issues affecting Spotify in the EU, focusing on platforms and content regulation, consumer rules, and trade and tech regulation; manage files and develop effective advocacy strategies.
•Collaborate with internal groups (legal, licensing, communications, social impact, compliance, trust and safety) to align internal priorities with external policy approaches.
•Develop engagement and partnerships with external organizations such as trade associations and civil society organizations.
•Advise on policy matters that impact Spotify in Europe and provide external advocacy, reporting to the Senior Director of European Policy.

Key Requirements

•10+ years of experience in EU government affairs
•Expertise on regulatory issues, especially in platform and consumer regulation
•Excellent understanding of tech sector and policy, and ability to rapidly understand and master complex policy issues
•Mastering of AI tools, such as Claude, Chat GPT, Gemini
•Strong written and oral communications skills
