Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, implement, debug, and validate Rust and Go software enabling AMD confidential computing capabilities across Kubernetes, Kata Containers, Confidential Containers, VirTEE, and related attestation technologies.
  • •Integrate and enhance AMD SEV/SEV-SNP capabilities within Kubernetes-based confidential computing platforms, including confidential workload enablement and attestation services.
  • •Develop topology-aware orchestration and resource-management capabilities leveraging NUMA locality, CCD/CCX topology, cache hierarchy, SMT placement, memory affinity, and device locality for improved scheduling and placement.
  • •Integrate and validate AMD EPYC platform capabilities with Kubernetes resource-management technologies such as CPU Manager, Topology Manager, Memory Manager, DRA, NRI, and device plugins.
  • •Contribute code, tests, documentation, and technical guidance to relevant open-source projects; debug and optimize complex stacks spanning Kubernetes, runtimes, Linux, KVM/QEMU, guest firmware, and attestation services.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong software development experience in Go, Rust, Python, and Bash for cloud-native infrastructure, distributed systems, virtualization, or container platforms.
  • •Deep expertise in Kubernetes and container orchestration, including scheduling, resource management, workload placement, networking, storage, observability, and production deployment.
  • •Hands-on experience integrating Kubernetes ecosystem technologies such as KubeVirt, OpenShift Virtualization, container runtimes, schedulers, operators, device plugins, NRI, DRA, CPU Manager, Topology Manager, and Memory Manager.
  • •Strong understanding of AMD EPYC and modern server architecture, including NUMA topology, CCD/CCX organization, cache hierarchy, SMT behavior, memory locality, and workload-performance optimization.
  • •Experience with confidential computing technologies (e.g., AMD SEV-SNP/SEV, confidential VMs/containers, and attestation services) and platform validation/testing frameworks.
